Hi, I am Francie,

The affection and desire to care for animals, especially when they are suffering, is a natural instinct. They depend on us as they are often unable to help themselves.

I was deeply moved by an experience in Napa's Wine Country, where I witnessed cows trying to cool off in a small pond of water during a scorching 100-degree day. Other cows huddled together under the only tree, seeking shade. Their misery tugged at my heart.

Drawing from my background in the solar industry, I had a revelation: why not use solar shades to power farm equipment while also providing much-needed shade and cooling for cows?

I found out that cows have a lower heat tolerance than us humans. With this newfound knowledge, I made it my mission to play a part in helping them. The rest, as they say, is history!

Francie Finn
Francie is the founder and CEO of Cow Shades. When Francie told her grandmother, Lisa, when she was 10 that she wanted to be a veterinarian, she snapped, you are not smart enough, you should be a singer. But that’s a story for another day. Needless to say, Francie loves animals, and Cow Shades is a labor of love. She has over a decade of experience in the energy industry with notable companies like Sunrun and Ygrene Finance.

Tommy Andorff
Tommy is the co-founder of Trust Anchor Group and an experienced parallel entrepreneur, head of Innovation and business development. Tommy works connects cutting-edge IoT and modern payment solutions to create value for customers.

Mateo Florez
Mateo specializes in creating open, interoperable and secure networks for the tokenization of physical and digital assets, including tokens, smart contracts, and smart payments at Trust Anchor Group.

Brent Branco
Brent focuses on developing net zero systems and specializes in soil fertility, biochar, and agricultural waste management. He's even involved in converting cow manure to biogas!

John Wind is a PhD chemical engineer. With 25 years of industrial experience, John is a chemical engineer specializing in gas separations and decarbonization technologies.

The COW SHADE Story:

It all started with a cow named Shade, who was no ordinary bovine. You see, Shade refused to follow other's hoofprints. No, this cow had ambition and dreams. Her vision? Cow Shades, solar shade structures providing relief from relentless heat waves and power to replace gas and propane pumps, irrigation, and equipment.

Shade knew this would be no easy feat, but after the Summer of 2023 dealt the hottest..EVER... Shade was determined. She launched the Cow Shades blockchain campaign selling tokens to fund these magical solar shade structures at local dairies everywhere.

In just one week, she received revenue from the sale of tokens to fund her dream...and the rest is history.
